Observation+Process

I paused painting for years to focus on graphic design and multimedia. After practicing photography and experiencing a life-changing event, I returned with an open mind to explore mediums beyond oil.

Setting time to draw is a way to find purpose. The tactile experience of drawing brings me back to a state of mind that I lost for a while.

I’m not classically trained or self-taught. I began painting in art classes in the 90s and took college courses as a grown adult. Learning to paint is also the result of getting feedback from friends with advanced skills.
