I shot this roll soon after completing my photo shoot with Danielle at Todd’s Point Beach. I was excited about the foggy weather that day and having a fresh roll of Fomapan 400 film in my backpack; it was impossible not to shoot some more. Click on this link to read and check out that photoshoot!
I love photographing on foggy weather, and how the soft light brings an interesting low contrast effect that layers over any subject matter on the foreground with sharper, vibrant detail.
This photo walk went on for less than a half hour, there were mud puddles everywhere, and nightfall was quickly approaching. The overcast, foggy weather settled after a long rainy day, and this was my first time taking landscape pictures with a TRL camera, the Yashica Mat EM, which I shot using the sunny 16 rule.
