I made my first attempt at night street photography on super bowl Sunday, which happened to be a rainy one. On this photo walk, I was excited to include reflections, saturated reds, greens and yellows from neon signage and traffic lights; and if possible, some motion blur from either people walking by or cars speeding around. So I decided to settle on 60/sec and to shoot with F5.6 on high ISO levels. I anticipated having digital grain, so I concentrated more on composition and narrative. Since I live in a relatively quiet town, it is easier to get luckier with the first purpose than the second.
