Tonal variation in the fall is an incredible spectacle. As it's the case with anything nature related, it's never simple trying to record its beauty.
Things change very fast during the fall. Clouds move faster, foliage switch colors within days, and before you realize trees become bare, giving us a very different landscape one moment to the next.
How I been working with the camera in the past few months, I see how landscape photography can be a nice break to slow down and work on learning to see rather than being responsive. Anticipating so many variables requires planning, and in some ways, you need to envision how things would look like in the future. Taking pictures is not only about pressing the shutter.
