Shooting Film, Enjoying the Guess Work

I anticipate a great deal of guess work each time I set out to shoot with my film camera, having heard about the sunny 16 rule for a while, it always sounded very complex and intimidating; but after watching one of Ted Forbes’s videos on this technique, the sunny 16 rule finally began to make some sense.

These pictures were taken over at the local arboretum in mid-summer at around 1 PM. I shot these with a variety of aperture settings that range from F8 to F16 at 1/125 sec.One thing I need to reinforce on this technique is learning to match shutter speed to ISO.
