I enjoy filling up the frame when shooting macro and that in turn has led me to approach subjects with the idea to play with abstraction.
When doing macro photography, I try to get away with ambient light whenever possible, but the more experience I build using a macro lens, the more I adhere to the idea of using diffused artificial light to enhance textures, isolate subjects or even increase focusing.
The more I get to work with a camera, the more I wish to learn how to build a story through a set of images, so moving forward I'll be working a little harder covering as many angles as possible, so using a macro lens feels like a good start.
