A few days ago I had the opportunity to do three consecutive photo shoots. Both the first and second were done on location, and the third in a makeshift studio at an office rental facility. Most previous shoots I’ve done up to this point had taken place within a least a few days apart, allowing me enough time to prepare and research on either lighting techniques, or camera settings; so the self-inflicting pressure served me the opportunity to work fast and simplify things;and I now see where things like shooting with an ETTL system, using Aperture Priority, and especially working with an assistant or second shooter would come handy next time I get to do sequential shoots.
